Українська школа в Гаазі заснована для дітей українських емігрантів та працівників міжнародних організацій, які бажають вивчати українську мову.
Навчання проводиться відповідно до навчального року в Нідерландах з перервами на канікули, які встановлені в північних і південних регіонах країни.
Школа заснована під патронатом Посольства України в Королівстві Нідерланди, є під опікою фонду Україна Культураліз (Stiching Oekraine Culturalis). До правління фонду входять: Тарас Площанський –голова фонду, Олександра Хохла, Сусанна Ахвердова.
Основні цілі та завдання фонду Україна Культураліз: співпраця з освітніми та культурними закладами в Нідерландах, які пропагують українську мову та культуру; сприяння розвитку взаєморозуміння, культурних зв’язків; налагодження дружніх стосунків між народами, поєднання української та голандської культур.
Ми вдячні Посольству України, зокрема Олені Власенко – аташе з питань культури, за допомогу, сприяння у відкритті та функціонуванні школи.
Спонсором школи виступає фонд імені Степана Мокрого, створений для сприяння українській культурі, літературі та поінформованості.

De Oekraïense School in Den Haag verzorgt onderwijs aan kinderen van expats die een aanvullende opleiding zoeken in het Oekraïens.
De lesperiode gaat gelijk op met het Nederlandse schooljaar en houdt rekening met de schoolvakanties in Noord- en Zuid-Nederland omdat de leerlingen uit beide regio’s komen.
De school is opgericht onder de auspiciën van de Ambassade van de Oekraïne in Nederland. De school wordt geleid door de Oekraïense Culturele Stichting (Stichting Oekraïne Culturalis) waarvan de raad van bestuur wordt gevormd door Oleksandra Khokhla, Susanna Akhverdova en voorzitter Taras Ploshchansky.
Het hoofddoel en de activiteiten van de Oekraïense Culturele Stichting zijn de oprichting en het beheer van instellingen die de Oekraïense taal en cultuur in Nederland bevorderen; stimulering van vrede en vriendschap in het vreedzaam naast elkaar bestaan van de volken, gebaseerd op de erkenning van het principe van vrijheid in het culturele leven, vooral met betrekking tot het samenbrengen van de Oekraïense en Nederlandse culturen op artistiek en sociaal gebied.
Wij zijn grote dankbaarheid verschuldigd aan de Ambassade van de Oekraïne en vooral aan Olena Vlasenko, de cultureel attaché van de Ambassade zonder wie de oprichting van deze school niet mogelijk was geweest.
De hoofdsponsoring komt van de Stephan Morkryj Estate die zich bezig houdt met de bevordering van de cultuur, literatuur en kennis van Oekraïne.
About Us
The Ukrainian School in The Hague serves children of expats and internationals who wish to continue to receive a supplementary education in Ukrainian.
Classes run alongside the standard Dutch school year and we observe both the northern and southern school holiday periods, as our students may be traveling from both regions.
The school was established under the patronage of the Embassy of Ukraine in The Netherlands. The school is managed by the Ukraine Culturalis Foundation (Stiching Oekraine Culturalis ), whose Excecutive Board members are Oleksandra Khokhla, Susanna Akhverdova and its chairman, Taras Ploshchansky. The main goals and activities of the Ukraine Culturalis Foundation are to establish and manage institutions, which promote the Ukrainian language and culture in The Netherlands; promoting peace and friendship in the coexistence of peoples based on recognition of the principle of liberty in cultural life, particularly in the connection between Ukrainian and Dutch cultures in artistic and social domains.
We owe a great deal of gratitude to the Ukrainian Embassy and more specifically, to Olena Vlasenko, the Embassy’s cultural attaché without whom this school would have been nearly impossible to establish.
The founding sponsorship of the school originated from the Stephan Morkryj Estate, which supports the promotion of Ukrainian culture, literature and knowledge.
